Within Drexel Hill is a community called Drexelbrook, which has over 1,000 homes, a business center, and a recreational area, and has seen famous residents like Dick Clark and Ed McMahon in its past. Upper Darby High School alumna Tina Fey also has roots in the area, and was said to have based her movie Mean Girls on high school classmates from Drexel Hill.
