Old City
Apartment Life in Old City
Old City is located in the shadow of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge just north of Independence National Historical Park and it is an eclectic blend of row houses dating from William Penn's time, 19th-century commercial warehouses, and 20th-century rehabs à la SoHo in New York City. The odd alleyways between the city grid streets here provide nooks for quaint and quiet cafes and shops. A short commute by foot to much of the amenities downtown Philadelphia has to offer, Old City is a quite and quaint area with a historic feel; yet it is also known for its great restaurant and nightlife scene.
