Apartment Life in Wayne
Originally settled in the late 1600s by the Quakers, Wayne, PA, was mostly farmland until the mid 1800s when a stretch of the Columbia Railroad was built through the area. Today, Wayne includes sections in both Delaware County and Chester County, with Radnor Township at its center. About 30 minutes by train from Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station, Wayne is known for its first-rate school system, and also encompasses a business district with a post office, a cinema, restaurants, shopping, libraries, and banks. The community is also home to the Valley Forge Military Academy and the headquarters of Traffic Pulse, a worldwide traffic information provider.
