The timeless architectural details have distinguished both buildings over the course of their illustrious history, even as the properties served other purposes in later years and eventually began to decay. In 1985, prominent national rehabber Historic Landmarks for Living went on a mission to rescue the fading relics and revitalize them into a luxury apartment community. Over $6 million was spent to develop The Old Quaker Building, and the rest was history.
