    Overview

Sally Gardens Apartments is an entirely new-construction LEED-registered mixed use project on the Lancaster Avenue Commercial Corridor in West Philadelphia. Every resident has access to a large roof deck nestled amid a fully vegetated green roof with stunning big-sky views of Philadelphia. Sally Gardens Apartments will be completed in May, 2009 and the apartments will be available for occupancy on June 1, 2009. Sally Gardens Apartments is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program. Upon completion of construction in May 2009, Sally Gardens Apartments will apply for LEED certification at the Gold level. Although certification cannot be guaranteed, Sally Gardens Apartments is on schedule to be the first certified mixed-use project and to offer the first rental units in a LEED certified building in the City of Philadelphia.

Sally Gardens Apartments is also convenient to university shuttle services. The University of Pennsyvania's shuttle runs to the trolley stop at Lancaster and Spring Garden Street. The Drexel University Dragon Route, Blue Route and Gold Route run to 37th and Lancaster, and Blue and Gold Routes also run to 37th and Spring Garden Street.
