In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the Dobson Mills were the life-blood of East Falls. In the 1800's John Dobson purchased the mills on Scotts Lane and began to manufacture yarn. The Mills is located in East Falls and is very easy to access. Travel on Kelly Drive to South Ferry Avenue. Make right turn if coming from Center City, left turn if coming from points North. At Ridge Avenue, make another right. The first street on the left is Scotts Lane. Make a left and look for signs on your right.
