Apartment
life in Germantown
Germantown is the gateway to the northwestern
part of Philadelphia, east of Fairmount Park. Germantown's
residents appreciate the quiet, tree-lined streets and close
proximity to both Center City and Temple University.
One of Philadelphia's oldest settlements, it
was originally settled by German émigrés attracted
to Philadelphia by William Penn's promises of religious tolerance.
It is home to many of the city's historic homes. Many of the
apartment communities have been painstakingly restored to
their original architectural grandeur.
