Langhorne

The borough of Langhorne was established at the crossroads of an important interchange between Philadelphia and Trenton, New Jersey, and as traffic grew, the village grew with it. It was incorporated in 1876 and rapidly became a haven for wealthy Philadelphia residents. Many of their gorgeous homes still exist on Maple Avenue, making it a great place for architecture lovers. The median income in Langhorne is significantly higher than surrounding towns, adding to borough’s allure, and public transportation makes it easy to get to Philadelphia and major cities. One of the biggest attractions for kids in Langhorne is Sesame Place, a theme park based around the classic PBS show Sesame Street.
